MOVE over, Rebel Wilson — there’s another small screen star claiming bogan status.

Model Elyse Knowles, who will compete on Nine’s renovation show The Block with Josh Barker, reveals: “My sister said to me, ‘Just one thing, Elyse. If you do get on the show, just don’t do your laugh!’ I sound really bogan.”

Barker agrees, saying: “(Elyse) comes across a certain way, and she’ll be doing all these super serious campaigns, but she’s just a bogan at heart.”

But Knowles, who hopes to show a different side on The Block, says: “The modelling world can be so fake.

“But you really have just got to travel your own road and figure out how you are going to keep climbing the ladder, and Josh helps me do that.”
