Josh Barker & Elyse Knowles REALESTATE.com 2019

The Block stars Elyse Knowles and Josh Barker have listed their Albert Park pad for rent, following their move to Byron Bay.

The Myer ambassador and her carpenter partner are asking $570 per week to rent the two-bedroom terrace at 27 Ogrady St, which CoreLogic records show they paid $1.35 million for in late-2017.

The reality TV renovators revealed on their @joshandelyse Instagram account in February last year that they’d moved into the 1880s house, and begun to improve it with a paint job.

“When we get the keys to our new home and Joshy paints EVERYTHING white !!! Feels fresh and ready for our butts to move in,” the post read.

Knowles and Barker announced their move north on the same account last month, posting a smiling photo of themselves with the caption: “We have decided to make a dream a reality and Launch JandE projects in BYRON BAY! We are moving and so dam (sic) excited !”

Their Albert Park property will be available for tenants to move in from Saturday, April 13, according to the online Hocking Stuart listing.

The listing also notes that the house features new carpet and new split-system heating and cooling, and had been recently painted.

The property is being marketed as “perfect for an easy, low-maintenance lifestyle in a location that is second to none”, near shops, cafes, tram stops and St Vincent Gardens.

“The large proportioned spaces include two spacious bedrooms, sizeable lounge with adjoining dining area, functional kitchen and bathroom with shower over the bath,” the listing said.

The pet-friendly rental also features a quaint backyard with side access from Little Merton St via garage doors.

Hocking Stuart listing agent Stefan Joannides declined to comment on the property.
